Social networks (SNs) offer the opportunity to define a new generation of services focused on users’ needs and based on the SN topology and the temporal evolution of available information about their members. In this context we propose a platform for measuring some individual features of members, i.e. authority and susceptibility. The platform leverages on a semantics-based approach to represent members’ interests and on a diffusion theory to model propagation of interests.
