The ENEA-Bologna Nuclear Data Group generated two coupled neutron and photon working cross section libraries in FIDO-ANISN format dedicated to LWR shielding and pressure vessel dosimetry. These libraries, named BUGJEFF31.BOLIB and BUGENDF7O.BOLIB, are respectively based on JEFF-3.I and ENDFIB-VII.0 nuclear data and adopt the same energy broad-group structure (47 n + 20 gamma) of the ORNL BUGLE-96 library. BUGJEFF31.BOLIB and BUGENDF70.BOLIB were respectively collapsed, through an ENEA-Bologna updated and corrected version of the ORNL SCAMPI nuclear data processing system, from the ENEA-Bologna VITJEFF3I.BOLIB and VITENDF7O.BOLIB libraries in AMPX format for nuclear fission applications. These libraries, based on the Bondarenko self-shielding factor method, have the same energy fine-group structure (199 a +42 y) as the ORNL VITAMIN-B6 similar library in AMPX format from which BUGLE-96 was generated at ORNL. An inter-comparison of preliminary results obtained with BUGJEFF31.BOLIB, BUGENDF7O.BOLIB and BUGLE-96 is presented for the VENUS-3 neutron shielding benchmark experiment dedicated to the LWR pressure vessel safety and specifically recommended by OECD/NEA. The calculations were performed with the TORT-3.2 three-dimensional discrete ordinates transport code, properly assisted by the ENEA-Bologna BOT3P-5.2 pre/post-processor system for the automatic generation of the spatial mesh grids.
