Abstract
We briefly discuss the unified theoretical framework that allows explaining a variety of experimental observations with one single "fishbone-like" dispersion relation. We also point out the relationship of MHD and shear Alfvén waves in the kinetic thermal ion frequency gap with microturbulence, Zonal Flows and Geodesic Acoustic Modes, emphasizing its importance in determining long time scale dynamic behaviors in burning plasmas. © 2008 American Institute of Physics.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
