This report point out the difficulties of the Russian Federation about the management of the nuclear waste and of the submarine decommissioning located in the Artic Region.All the industrial and naval enterprises involved with the nuclear submarine utilisation are unable to solve these problems and the national programmes are currently limited by a number of reasons, the main of which is that the facilities and more in general the support complex is not sufficient to effect in the time required the necessary operation to reduce the risk of the nuclear and radiation accident.More resources should be devoting to decommissioning and clean up problems.Considering the economical situation of the Russian Federation and the urgency of the problems, an international emergency plan, coming from a Key Study of the real situation, is required to support the Russian intervention.
