This work has been carried out within the framework of the TRADE experiment, consisting in coupling an external proton accelerator to a target to be installed in the central channel of the TRIGA reactor (located at the ENEA-Casaccia Centre) scrammed to sub-criticality. A detailed neutronic analysis of the system in absence of the external source has been performed by means of the ECCO / ERANOS ver 2.0 code. The report develops two main objectives: 1) The evaluation of multi-temperature cross-sections for dynamic core calculations; 2) The test and validation of the new JECCOLIB2A nuclear data library: an updating version of JECCOLIB2 (from JEF2.2 data processing) developed at CEA-Cadarache. This updated library considers correctly some TRIGA peculiarities, as the fuel ternary alloy (uranium-zirconium- hydrogen) and the behaviour of some isotopes in its thermal spectrum. The data for dynamic calculations have been evaluated in a two- energy-group structure. The JECCOLIB2A library test has been carried out by means of microscopic and macroscopic cross-section calculations in a 25-energy-group structure.
