That report has been issued in the frame of the second research programme of ENEA-MSE agreement and it is one of the deliverabies of the task G 'Theoretical and experimental studies on IRIS critical components (SG, EHRS)' of the work-programme 2 'Evolutionary INTD reactors' of the research theme on 'Nuovo Nucleare da Fissione'. The document reports the results of a study aimed at evaluating fully turbulence flow and heat transfer in toroidal pipes of different curvature. Different turbulence models have been used in the numerical simulation: classic k-ε model, k-w model and second order Reyno!ds stress-w model. The reports suggest also a new correlation for fully turbulent flow based on momentum-heat transfer analogy, notably in the form known as the Pethukov correlation.

Abstract
The reports suggest also a new correlation for fully turbulent flow based on momentum-heat transfer analogy, notably in the form known as the Pethukov correlation.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
