The overall activity is aimed to verify the feasibility of the superheated steam double wall once through bayonet type steam generation. The work and the relative experirnental campaigns will be focused on the single tube evaluation. lt spans over three years. This report is subdivided in seven sections. The first one pointed out the objectives of the activity and a description of the ALFRED SG. Section two addresses the screening of candidate powders and summarize the models to deterrnine numerically the conductivity of porous media. The calculations to support the design of the Tubes for Powders (TxP) facility are presented in section three. The layout of the Facility is given in section 4. In section five, the assessment of the single tube performance by mean of RELAP-5 is reported. Section six is preliminary to the future development. The turbulence promoters techniques are presented as well as the methodologies to measure the void fraction. They are considered strategie activities to support the single tube experimental testing. Conclusions and future developments are presented in section seven
