The activity of ENEA in the last six months were mainly concentrated on the preparation of the next PHEBUS Test, FPT-4, and in the post-test analysis of the first QUENCH-01 experiment using both ICARE2 and SCDAP/RELAP5 code.The next PHEBUS FPT-4 test is foreseen at the end of this year. Several studies for FPT-4 test were performed with ICARE2 in order to assure the safety of the test conduction under different conditions.ICARE2 late phase degradation model development has been continued in close cooperation with CEA. During the next six month such models will be applied in TMI-2 accident analysis. An analysis of TMI-2 using the SCDAP/RELAP5/Mod3.2 will be also performed.Post-test analysis of QUENCH experiments will be further performed in conjunction with CEA, applying the quench model developed by the University of Pise, that should be available in ICARE2.
