Some issues about the seismic monitoring of structures are faced. The analysis is also performed by means of some experimental analyses carried out on historical buildings. These were instrumented by using both temporary and permanent arrays. Velocimeters can be positioned in different configurations in order to have a first guess of the best sensors deployment.
