This report resumes the evolution of the MFPR release code up to present, as well as the status of its validation. An analysis of some changes introduced to the mechanistic model from version 1.1 to version 1.1 rev.1 is presented. The validation performed by IBREA developers of the code with the MFPR v1.1 rev.1, was repeated and a comparison was done between both calculations as well as with those performed with two new versions, MFPR v1.1 rev.2 and rev.2a, received from IBRAE on July 1999. The experiments chosen to validate MFPR v1.1 rev.1 were the VERCORS-2 and 4 tests (CEA-Grenoble) and the VI-2, 3, 4 and 5 of the ORNL series. Other validation, using the progressive versions of the code, had been performed over the VERCORS-4 and 5, the ORNL HI-4 and the PHEBUS FP tests.
