In this paper we present a study on the commercial gas sensor SGX SENSORTECH MICS6814, composed by three microsized MOX, sensors in a controlled environment. Using an innovative and non-conventional approach to the sensor testing, we found a way for the usability of this sensor in an indoor air quality application scenario. As a result we provide a table useful to implement a simple algorithm for the generation of an air quality index that can be displayed with a tachometer or coloured LED.

Abstract
In this paper we present a study on the commercial gas sensor SGX SENSORTECH MICS6814, composed by three microsized MOX, sensors in a controlled environment. Using an innovative and non-conventional approach to the sensor testing, we found a way for the usability of this sensor in an indoor air quality application scenario. As a result we provide a table useful to implement a simple algorithm for the generation of an air quality index that can be displayed with a tachometer or coloured LED.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
