The codes used to model the experiments employ various complex models for the different phenomena associated with fission product release from fuel. This report considers the results of calculations performed to analyse fission product release behaviour in previous large-scale experiments. These include the use of a number of codes(ELSA; MFPR, FIPREM/MOD 2.0, KESS, RELOS.MOD2) to model the phenomena associated with experimental programmes such as PBF SFD, PHEBUS FP, ORNL HI/VI HEVA/VERCORS and SACHA tests. Specific tests have been modelled with these codes and the results compared with those of the actual experiments. In each case, the performance has been assessed and recommendations for improvements have been made.

Abstract
In each case, the performance has been assessed and recommendations for improvements have been made.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
