This work has been carried out in the framework of the CDT/FASTEF EU FP7 project: It deals with the preliminary FA/core design for MYRRHA-FASTEF, a 100 MW LBE cooled reactor (working in both critical and sub-critical modes) that should be able Io demonstrate transmutation and associated technology. This analysis is focused on the critical option, even if the main features of the sub-critical one (having the same FA structure) have to be foreseen since the beginning. The present report sketches the first layouts for the critical configuration, in which two different shutdown systems have been introduced. While the XT-ADS FA geometry has been maintained, the care barrel has been enlarged (from 186 up to 199 SAs). The remaining analysis has been carried out by the ERANOS ver. 2.1 deterministic code and the JEFF3.1 nuclear data library. The second part of the presentation (done at the WP1 meeting, an 24-25 November 2009 in Brussels) summarizes the main decisions made during the 'High Flux Task' on 23 November 2009.

Abstract
The second part of the presentation (done at the WP1 meeting, an 24-25 November 2009 in Brussels) summarizes the main decisions made during the 'High Flux Task' on 23 November 2009.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
