The Secretariat of the Sustainable Building and Construction Initiative and the UNEP/SETAC Life Cycle Initiative are leading the work on 'Guidelines on why take a life cycle approach to Building and Construction. These guidelines are under preparation and at present only a draft of chapter 5 Is available: it deals with existing tools on life cycle approaches for the building sector. This document presents the review of the draft guidelines, requested to Alessandra Zamagni as LCA expert, and suggestions pertaining to the whole project.
