This report is being issued within the COLOSS Project of 5th Framework EC Programme Key Action on Nuc1ear Fission. The results of 2nd set of TMI-2 calculations performed with an improved version of ICARE/CATHARE code and the new VI version of ASTEC code are presented.The ASTEC VI code includes the thermal-hydraulic CESAR module for the analysis of the primary and secondary systems, which is coupled to the DIVA module for core degradation analysis. Model improvements in ICARE/CATHARE code concern UO2 dissolution of irradiated fuel and oxidation of U-Zr-O relocated mixture.A sensitivity analysis has been performed with ICARE/CATHARE code to assess the influence of some important core degradation parameters on the hydrogen generation and the amount of formed me1ts.
