Twelve field missions have been carried out. Three of them have addressed the South East Asia region (Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines), two the Middle East region (Jordan and UAE) and seven the African region (Morocco, Egypt, South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Cameroon). Evaluations were based on a SWOT (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis and on the criteria identified at the Lot 5 kick-off meeting in May 20, 2008 (Willingness; Infrastructure; Sustainability; International Cooperation; Stability; and Regional Influence). Furthemore, two regional workshops have been held: the first in Singapore on 23rd November 2009, and the second in Amman, Jordan, on 26th-27th May 2010.
