This report is the deliverable SP3.2 D4 entitled “Guidelines and recommendations of techniques and methods for the reduction of seismic vulnerability. Evaluation of the consequences of mitigations dispositions”. It is divided in two parts: the former mainly deals with the description of techniques and methods to be used for reducing the seismic vulnerability, and the reference standards for the analysis. The second part reports the input data and a description of codes to be used for the evaluations to be performed in the second period (2011-2012) of the CP-ESFR project in order to evaluate the behaviour of the pool and loop plant solutions, including the sloshing effects on the vessel and internals.
