This document has been developed in the framework of the Pilot testing phase of the Envifood protocol, a document developed by the European Food Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) Round Table and aimed to specify requirements for assessing the environmental impacts of food and drink products along their life cycle. COOP Italia, with the technical support of LECOP-LEI laboratory, has participated in the pilot testing phase by performing a LCA study on high quality milk production and providing detailed comments to the Protocol, as requested by the Round Table. The document includes the Feedback questionnaire to the Envifood protocol, the detailed comments and a comparison between key methodological requirements of the protocol and other methods. In particular, the LECOP-LEI laboratory has provided the detailed comments and has prepared both the methodological section of the feedback questionnaire and the comparison with other methods. COOP Italia has contributed to the communication tools section of the feedback questionnaire.
