This document describes the activities of validation of the results delivered by eVerdEE for two case studies, carried out in the framework of the G.EN.ESI project: a cooker hood, produced by Faber, and an electric motor produced by Bonfiglioli. The detailed LCA studies (DLCA) of these products are documented in the ENEA Technical reports UTVALAMB-PA75-001 and UTVALAMB-PA75-002. The results of Global Warming Potential (GWP), Abiotic Depletion Potential (ADP-elements) and Primary Energy obtained with eVerdEE and with the DLCAs have been compared. A good alignment of the total results was observed. For GWP and Primary Energy, eVerdEE can identify the most critical phases in the life cycle and the most critical elements/processes with the same ranking as the DLCA. Relevant differences have been observed for ADP-elements results, mainly due to the use of different proxies and sources of data in the DLCA and eVerdEE. The comparison has demonstrated the validity of the simplification approach used in eVerdEE and the need for a larger number of LCI datasets of ferrous alloys for making eVerdEE fully applicable to the mechatronic sector.

Abstract
The comparison has demonstrated the validity of the simplification approach used in eVerdEE and the need for a larger number of LCI datasets of ferrous alloys for making eVerdEE fully applicable to the mechatronic sector.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
