This report presents the activities performed in the frame of LP1, Objective B (Accident consequences evaluation), task B2-1 of PAR 2015, ADP ENEA-MSE. The content addresses the measures to reduce the risk due to severe accidents. These include the safeguards designed to prevent and mitigate the consequences of severe accidents, such as the passive safety systems for the retention of the corium inside the vessel. Both deterministic and probabilistic evaluations are offered.
