The f-electron character in Actinides was investigated using electron-positron annihilation technique. The antiferromagnet UGa3 in the paramagnetic phase was studied and was found to produce substantial evidence that an unconstrained f-electron itinerant applies. Electron-positron correlation effects were included according to the theory by Boronski and Nieminen and core states were not included in the calculations. The results show the direct evidence of 5f-electrons itinerancy in UGa3.

Abstract
The f-electron character in Actinides was investigated using electron-positron annihilation technique. The antiferromagnet UGa3 in the paramagnetic phase was studied and was found to produce substantial evidence that an unconstrained f-electron itinerant applies. Electron-positron correlation effects were included according to the theory by Boronski and Nieminen and core states were not included in the calculations. The results show the direct evidence of 5f-electrons itinerancy in UGa3.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
