Abstract
The (gamma,n) reaction rate of 186W was measured in order to deduce the (n,gamma) reaction rate of 185W, an important branching point in the astrophysical s-process. The theoretical predictions have been confirmed and the error range was slightly decreased. The derived Maxwellian averaged cross section (MACS) at 30 keV is (687 ± 110) mb.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
