The application and development of innovative anti-seismic (IAS) systems for the protection of cultural heritage was studied. The main features of the ongoing projects, concerning the development of IAS techniques for cultural heritage structures (CUHES) at Energy and the Environment (ENEA) were analyzed. The results obtained by ENEA in the framework of these projects were outlined, which confirmed the first results which were prsented at the year 2001 ASME-PVP conference.

Abstract
